Canister shells are a type of firework consisting of a cylindrical tube that is filled with pyrotechnic material. To use canister shells:
- Find a safe and open outdoor area where you can set up the fireworks. Make sure that the area is free of any flammable materials and that there are no overhead obstructions.
- Remove the canister shells from their packaging and make sure that they are all in good condition.
- Place the canister shells in a sturdy tube or rack that is designed to hold them securely. This will ensure that the shells launch straight up into the air and don't fall over or tip to one side.
- Light the fuse on the canister shell and quickly move away from the launch site. It's important to keep a safe distance from the fireworks to avoid injury.
- Wait for the shell to launch into the air and explode, creating a spectacular burst of colors and patterns.
- Repeat the process with additional canister shells until you have finished the display.
Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions when using fireworks, and never attempt to modify or alter them in any way. Additionally, it's important to check local laws and regulations to ensure that you are using fireworks safely and legally.
The legal limit for any type of canister shell, including ball or canister, is 60 grams. This means that whether you are purchasing a 4" canister or a massive 7" canister, the legal limit is still 60 grams. It's important to note that a bigger shell doesn't necessarily mean a bigger bang.
At ELITE FIREWORKS®, we believe in transparency and educating our customers. Despite the extra cardboard and marketing gimmicks in the industry, it's the quality of the inner shell that determines the firework's performance. All canisters have an approximate 4" inner shell that holds the powder, so don't be fooled by the size of the outer shell. When it comes to canister shells, it's important to focus on the quality of the shell rather than the size of the outer shell. Understanding the legal limit and the performance factors of canister shells will ensure a safe and enjoyable fireworks experience.
